It has been a whirlwind of a few days. We are at home after a few days in the hospital. We had to stay a bit longer because Sebastian had a touch of Jaundice. He was put under lights that looked as if he was getting a sun tan. Then we brought home a glowing blanket for a day and he was fine. He is gaining weight really well 4 oz in a few days. he is now 7lb 10oz. The pediatrician was surprised since he was breast fed. He also has a strong neck holding it up like a month old baby. And he has a strong sucking reflex.
It has been a life saver to have my parents here to help out. As well as friends stopping by with food and good energy.
I am still amazed that he came out of me and that I did it without any drugs. I can't thank our Doula Noreen enough for her support and our midwife Rachel.
I am still recovering and an a bit sore. Christian has been interviewing this week. He flew out to Seattle. So we are crossing our fingers.
